Immersed in various world of music, dance and art since birth, Ella Faye aims to braid together the many ways music manifests in our lives. She believes music is an eternal life force that we get to continually explore as humans. It helps us to live more empathetic, spirited, and colorful lives. She hopes her music can be a source of joy, liberation and catharsis for all those who listen.

Born and raised in Boston, Ella has been studying and performing as a vocalist since the age of four. She has written over a hundred songs and professionally recorded and released five of them. She writes music and accompanies herself on piano and guitar. Most recently, she has taken on the role of bandleader, collaborating with fellow musicans to arrange her original songs with violin, cello, bass, drums, electric guitar, and background vocals.

Ella is a student at Berklee College of Music where she recieved a scholarship to study Contempary Writing and Production and Vocal Performance. She is immersed in learning about arranging in different styles and the technical side of engineering and production. Outside of school, Ella is a co-founder of the event production collective, “The Nest.” They have produced three sold-out shows featuring musicians from six continents.

As a singer, Ella has been invited to sing alongside acclaimed artists Martin Sexton, James Bird and May Erlewine and she has studied under the instruction of Ledisi, Farayi Malek, and Debo Ray. Most recently, she sold out a show at Boston venue, The Lilypad, performing alongside artists, Marianthi Olympia, Ayėl, and Zwonaka. As a songwriter, she has been deeply inspired by the songwriting and vocal brilliance of artists such as Brandi Carlile, Stevie Wonder, Joni Mitchell, and Aretha Franklin. Her songs speak from the heart with honesty and grace.

She has dreams of touring, collaborating with artists from around the globe and using music to be a force for positive change in the world.
